ATG NEWS RELEASE: Former manager to local musician John Cruz indicted on theft offenses

HONOLULU – Attorney General Doug Chin announced that an Oahu grand jury yesterday indicted Leslie L.C. Truglio for Theft in the First Degree and Computer Fraud in the First Degree.

Truglio worked as the business manager for local musician John Cruz until he terminated her employment in June 2013. The amount alleged to have been taken, between June 2013 and August 2015, exceeded $20,000.00.

Theft in the First Degree is a class B felony and carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $25,000.00 fine. Computer Fraud in the First Degree is a class A felony and carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and a $50,000.00 fine.

Truglio is 53 years old and has no prior convictions. Her bail is set in the amount of $20,000.00. Truglio is presumed innocent unless and until she is found guilty of the charges beyond a reasonable doubt.
