HDOT News Release: Lane closures scheduled on the eastbound H-201 Moanalua Freeway on Saturday, Feb. 9
Posted on Feb 6, 2019 in Latest Department NewsHONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) alerts Oahu motorists that two left lanes will be closed on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of Red Hill between the Puuloa Road overpass and the Funston Road overpass, on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, from 6 a.m. to 12 noon. Construction will be doing patch work on the freeway to smooth the surface of the Moanalua Stream Bridge.
Electronic message boards have been posted to notify motorists of the closure. Special Duty Police Officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.
Motorists should allow for extra travel time to get to their destinations and are advised to check traffic apps like GoAkamai for the best routes. Roadwork is weather permitting.
