HDOT NEWS RELEASE: MAUI LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 17 – OCT. 23, 2020

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

— HONOAPIILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —    

1) WAILUKU

Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers .5 and 4.7, Keanu Street and Honoapiilani Highway, on Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road striping work. Lane closures and lane shifts at various areas.

2) LAHAINA

Single lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 17.1 and 17.6, Kai Hele Ku Street and Honoapiilani Highway, on Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for paving work.

3) LAHAINA

Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the westbound direction between mile markers 19 and 19.4, Mill Street and Hokiokio Place, on Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for installation of a traffic counting station.

4) LAHAINA

Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile markers 19.8 and 21, Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road, on Tuesday, Oct. 20, through Thursday, Oct. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

— HANA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36) —

1) HAIKU

Single lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in both directions between mile markers 11 and 11.2, Haiku Road and Apuwai Street, on Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for shoulder work.

2) HAIKU

Single lane closure on Hana Highway (Route 36) in both directions between mile markers 11.5 and 12.1, Pauwela Road and Lokahi Place, on Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for installation of a raised crosswalk.

— KULA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 37) —

1) KULA

Right lane closure on Kula Highway (Route 37) in the southbound direction between mile markers 15 and 20.1, Pueo Drive and Kula Highway, on Monday, Oct. 19, through Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming work.
