HONOLULU – COVID-19 testing is continuously being conducted in the state prisons and jails as well as in the contracted Saguaro Correctional Center in Eloy, AZ. The latest testing updates received for the correctional facilities are as follows:

Oahu Community Correctional Center – 128 inmate test results; 36 positive, 92 negative. Clarification: Yesterday’s report of nine (9) positive staff should have been noted as nine (9) recovered staff. One (1) employee recovery was reported today for a total of 10 staff recoveries.

Women’s Community Correctional Center – Five (5) inmate test results; Two (2) positive, three (3) negative. 47 inmates have recovered.

Maui Community Correctional Center – 31 staff test results; Two (2) positive, 29 negative. Two (2) staff have recovered. 114 inmates have recovered.

Hawaii Community Correctional Center – Two (2) positive staff test results were reported. 12 employees have recovered. Four (4) negative inmate test results.

Waiawa Correctional Facility – 11 negative inmate test results. 24 inmates have recovered.

Kauai Community Correctional Center – Five (5) negative inmate test results reported.

Halawa Correctional Facility – One (1) negative inmate test result. Four (4) employees have recovered.

COVID-19 updates for other PSD Divisions are as follows:

Sheriff Division – Five (5) staff have recovered.
