HONOLULU – Attorney General Doug Chin and Office of Consumer Protection Executive Director Stephen Levins will hold a news conference today at Noon at the Department of the Attorney General, 425 Queen Street, Honolulu.
The topic of the news conference is the recently announced settlement agreement requiring automaker Volkswagen to initiate corrective action and to pay for violating state laws prohibiting unfair or deceptive trade practices by marketing, selling and leasing diesel vehicles equipped with illegal and undisclosed defeat device software.
