HDOT NEWS RELEASE: Commercial drivers license office in Salt Lake closed on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016

Posted on Dec 5, 2016 in Latest Department News

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation advises the public that the Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Office, located at 99-501 Salt Lake Boulevard will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, for the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.  Due to limited space, the Stadium Authority will need full control of its parking lot to prepare for this event.

However, the practical CDL and motorcycle tests scheduled for the Kaneohe test site on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016 will be conducted as scheduled.

All commercial drivers whose permits or licenses expire on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, should plan ahead to renew prior to the one-day office closure.

The CDL office will reopen for business on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016.
