Rapid responses to hurricanes, floods and a volcanic eruption

From Hawai‘i Department of Defense emergency evacuations, temporary shelters and FEMA relief centers to farm loans and state and federal aid of all types — the message to disaster survivors on several islands is “You’re not alone.”
