COVID-19 vaccination campaign set for June

Posted on May 27, 2021 in Capitol Connection, Featured, Main

The Hawai‘i Department of Health is planning a major campaign this month to encourage people to get their COVID-19 vaccinations. #HIgotvaccinated activities will include promotional events and other incentives for vaccinated residents. The goal is to vaccinate as many people as possible as quickly as possible, so we can resume the lives we remember and protect the people we love. You can check https://hawaiicovid19.com/vaccination-registration/ for a wide range of convenient locations statewide. Covid-19 vaccinations are now available for all Hawai‘i residents who are at least 12 years old.

“We’re making good progress on vaccinations, but we need to do more to make sure we can return to normal activities safely,” said the governor. “The virus is still circulating in our community, and unvaccinated people are particularly at risk. We’re encouraging people who haven’t yet been vaccinated to get that done so we can continue to make progress in protecting public health, re-energizing our economy and strengthening our communities.”
