DCCA NEWS RELEASE: License renewals available for more than 36,000 professionals at MyPVL

The program is a part of the highly successful effort by DCCA to implement efficient online filing procedures for businesses and professionals.
Professionals able to renew online include:
- Activity Desk
- Firm Permit to Practice
- Audiologist
- Hearing Aid Dealers & Fitter
- Barber
- Naturopath
- Barber Shop
- Optometrist
- Beauty Instructor
- Pharmacist
- Beauty Operator
- Pharmacy
- Beauty Shop
- Pharmacy – Misc. Permit
- Certified Public Accountant
- Physician
- Chiropractor
- Podiatrist
- Community Service Dentist
- Wholesale Prescription Drug Distributor
- Dental Hygienist
- Speech Pathologist
- Dentist
- Travel Agency
- Emergency Medical Technician
Earlier this year, more than 24,000 (92%) nurses, acupuncturists, plumbers, motor vehicle repair mechanics, and repair dealers renewed their licenses online.
“We would like to thank our licensees for their continued support in our effort to promote online services and improve overall efficiency”, said PVL Licensing Administrator, Celia Suzuki. “Since the initial launch in 2013, the success of MyPVL has proven to be the new online home for all PVL licensees.”
Instructions for completing the online renewal have been mailed to each current license holder. Emergency Medical Technicians, Physicians, and Podiatrists renewals will be accepted until midnight on Jan. 31, 2016. All other online renewals for this cycle will be accepted until midnight on Dec. 31, 2015.
MyPVL service enables 24/7 access to information and services from a single dashboard for all PVL licensees. It was created through a partnership with PVL and the state’s internet portal manager, Hawaii Information Consortium, LLC. The service is one of many online services for citizens and businesses offered through the state’s official website, eHawaii.gov.
