SB 505 – Opioid Therapy/Treatment: Requires prescribing health care providers to adopt and maintain policies for informed consent to opioid therapy in circumstances that carry elevated risk of dependency.
SB 513 – Contraceptive Supplies: Requires pharmacists to prescribe and dispense self-administered hormonal contraceptive supplies to patients regardless of a previous prescription.
SB 514 – Vaccines; Pharmacists; Training: Authorizes pharmacists to administer the human papillomavirus, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis), meningococcal, or influenza vaccine to people 11 and 17 years old.
SB 902 – High Technology Development Corporation (HTDC): Changes the name of HTDC to the Hawai‘i Technology Development Corporation.
HB 1418 – Flood Insurance: Amends the county exemptions from building permit and building code requirements to ensure that Hawai‘i’s communities are not suspended from participation in the National Flood Insurance Program.
