WHAT:          Bill Signing Ceremonies for the following:

HB 674          “Wiley Kaikou Muir Act” – Requires all child care providers to obtain and maintain liability insurance as a condition of licensure, temporary permission, or registration

SB 976           Reporting of Hazardous Substances – Changes the Hawaii Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act, Tier II filing fee from $100 to $200, to provide needed preparedness resources to Local Emergency Planning Committees.

HB 1325        “Clift Tsuji Act” – Requires the Department of Agriculture to establish parameters and construction requirements for biosecurity facilities to ensure the safety of agricultural and food commodities.
