GOVERNOR’S OFFICE MEDIA ADVISORY: Governor Ige, cabinet kick off series of community forums

What: Gov. David Ige and members of his cabinet and staff will hold the first in a series of community forums to be scheduled throughout the state. The first forum is being co-sponsored by Windward Community College’s student government and Ka ‘Ohana, WCC’s student newspaper.

The program includes remarks by Gov. Ige, who will briefly outline his administration’s strategic initiatives; brief remarks by members of the governor’s cabinet and staff on topics of community interest such as the Hawai‘i State Hospital, Wilson Tunnel repairs and homelessness; and an open question and answer period.
