WHAT:

News conference on Gov. Ige’s tour of storm damage areas at Iao Stream on Maui.

This tour follows initial damage assessments of the disaster area by the Hawai‘i National Guard and FEMA over the weekend.

Approximate Tour Schedule:

9:30am – Land at Puunene Armory, Maui

9:30-11:30am – Briefings by emergency personnel, aerial tour (photos and video will be made available to the media through the Hawai‘i National Guard)

Noon – Arrival at disaster site, tour site, meet with Hawai‘i National Guard members and community members

1:30 p.m. – NEWS CONFERENCE (details below)
