- Making government more efficient, effective and accountable so that it works for the people
We will be live tweeting during the State of the State address.

**Embargoed State of the State text will be distributed by email to credentialed local media at 9 a.m. on January 23, 2017. Hard copies will be distributed to credentialed local media covering the event. The text will also be posted on the governor’s website at governorige.hawaii.gov immediately following the governor’s address.
