GOVERNOR’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE: Flags to fly at half-staff in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week

HONOLULU — At the direction of the President of the United States, the United States flag shall be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and upon all state offices and agencies as well as the Hawai‘i National Guard in the State of Hawai‘i, on Sunday, May 15, 2016 until sunset.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

This action is in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15 and Police Week, which runs from May 15 through May 21, 2016.
