GOVERNOR’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE: Flags to fly at half-staff in honor of victims of San Bernardino tragedy

HONOLULU — At the direction of the President of the United States, the United States flag and the Hawai‘i state flag will be flown at half-staff until sunset at the State Capitol and upon all state offices and agencies as well as the Hawai‘i National Guard in the State of Hawai‘i until sunset, December 7, 2015. This action is a mark of respect for the victims of gun violence in San Bernardino.

“Our hearts are heavy with grief for the victims of this senseless act of violence and our thoughts are with their families, colleagues and friends. We mourn along with the San Bernardino community,” Gov. Ige said.
