GOVERNOR’S OFFICE NEWS RELEASE: Governor heads to Seattle for Democratic Governors Association conference

HONOLULU – Gov. David Ige is in Washington State for a two-day policy conference sponsored by the Democratic Governors Association (DGA).

The governor will address the DGA and attend two panel discussions.

“This is an opportunity to learn about the latest, most innovative ideas on infrastructure and technology as we work to improve communities and the quality of life across the state of Hawai‘i,” said Gov. Ige.

No state funds are being used for this trip.

The governor returns to Hawai‘i on Saturday, March 25.

Lt. Gov. Shan Tsutsui will serve as acting governor while Gov. Ige is out of town.
