18TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY TECH JOB FAIR AIMS TO CONNECT HAWAII’S LEADING TECH COMPANIES WITH LOCAL TALENT

The 18th Annual Holiday Tech Job Fair, presented by the Hawaii Technology Development Corporation, offers the perfect opportunity to discover tech career opportunities at some of Hawaii’s leading companies.

WHAT:
18th Annual Holiday Tech Job Fair

WHEN:
Thursday, Dec. 28, from 5 to 8 p.m.

WHERE:
Japanese Cultural Center, Manoa Grand Ballroom
2454 South Beretania Street

This free event will connect hundreds of talented job seekers, students and recent graduates with more than 40 companies looking to hire local tech and IT talent. Internships and apprenticeships are offered by many companies. Complimentary resume evaluations and professional headshots will be provided. As a new year approaches, the annual fair further supports efforts toward the 80/80 initiative, which aims to create 80,000 new innovation jobs for kamaaina paying at least $80,000 a year.

Attendees can network during a pau hana reception from 6 to 8 p.m.

The 2017 Holiday Tech Job Fair is sponsored by Bank of Hawaii, Alakai Executive Search, DSA Inc., Ansaldo Honolulu (a Hitachi joint venture), Hawaii Food Manufacturers Association, and Microsoft.
