The House of Representatives Health & Human Services Committee will hold an informational briefing on homeless solutions at 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 9 in conference room 329 at the State Capitol.
This briefing will focus on the health and human services area relating to homelessness and consensus building and solution seeking through collaboration. The committee seeks to identify methods and programs that efficiently and effectively address and reduce homelessness.
Speakers will include government officials, hospitals, non-profits, mental health workers, social workers, faith based organizations, law enforcement and other advocates to identify possibly solutions to significantly address Hawaii’s homelessness.
No public testimony will be accepted.
