DCCA NEWS RELEASE: Arthur E. Lee, Jr. dba Above All Bail Bonds ordered to cease and desist

HONOLULU – The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs’ Insurance Commissioner Gordon Ito has ordered licensees Arthur E. Lee, Jr. dba Above All Bail Bonds, and Above All Bail Bond, LLC dba Above All Bail Bond to immediately cease and desist doing business as a bail bondsman and bail agency pending a hearing in October.
The preliminary order also imposes fines of $60,000 against Arthur E. Lee, Jr. and $25,000 against Above All Bail Bond, LLC. According to the order, Lee and his bail agency employed fraudulent and dishonest practices, and demonstrated untrustworthiness in the conduct of their business.
