DLNR MEDIA ADVISORY: DLNR & You media opportunities in support of the IUCN World Conservation Congress Hawaii 2016
Posted on Aug 4, 2016 in Latest Department NewsThe Hawaii Dept. of Land and Natural Resources will be holding a series of 19 news conferences and media availabilities leading up to and during the IUCN World Conservation Congress Hawaii 2016, being held in Honolulu, Sept. 1-10, 2016. These opportunities will highlight some of the important conservation work being conducted by DLNR and its many partners and raise awareness for Hawaii residents, visitors, IUCN delegates from around the world and the international press corps. This media advisory is for planning purposes and to alert you to coverage opportunities prior to the conservation congress. Media will also receive separate advisories for each event. A second advisory will be issued for daily news conferences to be held at the Hawaii Convention Center during the congress.
