What:  Governor David Ige will proclaim June 15, 2016 as Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument Day in Hawai‘i, during a ceremony at the Governor’s Office in the State Capitol.  Ten years ago President George W. Bush designated the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands as Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument.
