DLNR NEWS RELEASE: KA‘ENA POINT STATE PARK CLOSED DURING SEARCH OPERATIONS FOR ARMY HELICOPTER

(Honolulu) – The DLNR Division of State Parks has temporarily closed all of Ka‘ena Point State Park on O‘ahu’s North Shore during active search operations for a missing U.S. Army helicopter. No vehicle, foot, or bicycle traffic is allowed on roads and trails through either the Mokulēʻia or the Keawa‘ula Sections of the park until further notice. The media will be alerted once the park is reopened.
