DLNR NEWS RELEASE: Warning signs removed from West Maui shoreline today

HONOLULU –  The Department of Land and Natural Resources removed shark warning signs today at noon that were posted along a two-mile stretch of beach from Lone Pine (milepost 13 on Honoapi‘ilani Highway)  to the Olowalu Recycling Center, following morning monitoring by state and county officials. No sharks were sighted.
