— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) AIEA TO KALIHI

Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between Kaamilo Street and Keehi Interchange on Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., for street sweeping.

 

2) AINA HAINA TO KALIHI

Roving closures on H-1 in both directions between Middle Street and Ainakoa Avenue Monday, Oct. 12 through Friday, Oct. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for landscaping. Ramps may be closed for safety as crews work in the area.

 

3) HALAWA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of Moanalua Road on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for pole replacements.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Keehi Interchange on Sunday, Oct. 11, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement marking installations.

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Ward Avenue and Queen Emma Street overpass on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for maintenance work.

Right lane closure on the Waikiki/Nimitz Highway offramp (Exit 18A) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Sunday night, Oct. 11, through Friday morning, Oct. 16, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail project.

Three left lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Koko Head Avenue overpass and the Waialae Interchange on Sunday night, Oct. 11, through Friday morning, Oct. 16, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for surface treatment work.

 

9) KAIMUKI

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Kapiolani Interchange and Ainakoa Avenue on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The speed limit in this area is reduced to 40 mph during closure hours.

 

10) KAPOLEI

Right lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and Wakea Street overpass on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for signage and irrigation work.

 

11) PEARL HARBOR (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the Joint Base PBHH/Nimitz Highway offramp (Exit 15) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Sunday, Oct. 11, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail project.

Shoulder closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction in the vicinity of the H-201 Moanalua Freeway onramp on Tuesday, Oct. 13, through Thursday, Oct. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for street light work.

 

2) HALAWA TO KANEOHE

Roving lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between the Halawa Interchange and Halekou Interchange on Tuesday, Oct. 13, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

 

3) HALAWA (NIGHT WORK)

Alternating lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Halawa Interchange and Harano Tunnels on Monday, Oct. 12 through Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., for emergency joint repairs. The speed limit will be reduced during closure hours.

 

4) KANEOHE

Two lane closures on the H-3 Freeway in both directions between Kamehameha Highway and Mokapu Saddle Road on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for storm drain cleaning.

 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTES 93/930) —

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Nanaikeola Street and Nanakuli Avenue on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for curb and gutter reconstruction work.

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Pohakunui Avenue and Helelua Street on Sunday, Oct. 11, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for pavement reconstruction.

Roving lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions in the vicinity of Kaukonahua Road and Dillingham Airfield on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for litter removal.

 

4) WAIALUA

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Laau Paina Place and Olohio Street on Tuesday, Oct. 13, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for pole replacements.

 

5) WAIANAE (WEEKEND CLOSURE)

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in the eastbound direction between Maipalaoa Road and St. John’s Road on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for the Maipalaoa Bridge Replacement project.

The eastbound shoulder and right lane will be closed over a 24-hour period, seven days a week. Two lanes will remain open in the eastbound direction and one lane in the westbound direction for morning rush hour. For afternoon rush hour, two lanes will be open in the westbound direction and one lane in the eastbound direction around 3 p.m.

 

6) WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lanes will be closed as needed on Farrington Highway (Route 7101) in both directions between Fort Weaver Road and the H-1 Freeway Overpass (near Leeward Community College), on Sunday, Oct. 11, through Friday, Oct. 16, over a 24-hour period, for The Rail.

Single lane closure on Kaumualii Highway (Route 50) in both directions between mile markers 7.2 and 8.2, Maluhia Road and Punee Road, on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance. Alternating traffic will be routed through the open lane.

  

— KUHIO HIGHWAY (ROUTE 56) —

1) KAPAA (24-HOUR WORK)

Traffic on Kuhio Highway (Route 56) near mile marker 10 is shifted to the temporary Kapaa Stream Bridge 24-hours a day, seven days a week until further notice. For safety during the shift to the temporary bridge, right turns off Kuhio Highway onto Mailihuna Road are not permitted. Access to Kapahi is recommended via the Kawaihau Road or Hauala Road detours.

Traffic flow in both directions will be maintained through alternating traffic control (contraflow).

Closure of single lane at a time on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions between mile markers 36 and 38, between Paauilo Makai Road and Kalopa Road, on Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail installation. Traffic flow in both directions will be maintained through alternating traffic control (contraflow).

Closure of single lane at a time on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions between mile markers 38 and 43, between Akasaki Road and Plumeria Street, on Saturday, Oct. 10, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., for landscape maintenance.
