HONOLULU – The State Tax Department is pleased to announce that Jenny Xu has been selected as the new Practitioner Priority Specialist.  Ms. Xu has worked to resolve taxpayers and tax practitioners’ problems during the past three years in the Department and has been a tax preparer in the private sector.
The Practitioner Priority Specialist helps tax practitioners by:

• Resolving tax account-related issues, including locating and applying payments, explaining DOTAX notices and letters, and providing information of taxpayers’ accounts;
• Providing general procedural guidance and timeframes; and
• Directing inquiries to the appropriate offices within the Department.
