- November 1, 2:00 p.m. – Book Smart Book Club. A group discussion on “Strange Contagion: Inside the Surprising Science of Infectious Behaviors and Viral Emotions and What They Tell Us About Ourselves” by Lee Daniel Kravetz. Salt Lake-Moanalua Public Library
- November 4, 10:30 a.m. – Story of the Nisei Soldiers of World War II. Learn about Americans of Japanese Ancestry (AJA) who served gallantly in World War II in spite of the fierce prejudice they faced from their own country. Guest speakers are former Hawaii Governor George R. Ariyoshi and Wes Deguchi, President of Nisei Veterans Legacy.
