HDOT NEWS RELEASE: Likelike Highway continues weekend lane closure begins Friday night, March 3

Posted on Mar 2, 2017 in Latest Department News

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu motorists of a Honolulu-bound lane closure on Likelike Highway between Emmeline Place and Kula Kolea Drive beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Friday night, March 3, 2017 continuously through 5 a.m. on Monday morning, March 6, 2017.

Crews will be performing road reconstruction work—as part of the Likelike Highway Resurfacing project—that requires a continuous lane closure. At least one lane will remain open in the Honolulu-bound direction at all times. Roadwork is weather permitting.

HDOT encourages the public to plan their commute and check traffic apps to avoid congestion. Roadwork will be posted on our website at https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/roadwork/weekend/ and released through our social media channels on Facebook and Twitter.
