NIGHTLY CLOSURE OF RUNWAY 4R-22L BEGINS TUESDAY NIGHT, JAN. 16, FOR AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) advises Oahu residents that Runway 4R-22L will be closed at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) on Tuesday night, Jan. 16, 2018 through Sunday morning, Jan. 21, 2018 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for airfield maintenance.

During the closure, flights will be redirected to other operational runways which will alter their flight paths. This may increase air traffic noise over the Ewa Plains during closure hours. Work is weather permitting.

HDOT thanks the community for its cooperation as we continue to provide a safe facility for the traveling public.
