HDOT News Release: Public Informational Meeting on the Hanapepe River Bridge Project scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 6

LIHUE – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT), in coordination with the Federal Highway Administration and contractor WW Clyde and Co., will be holding a public informational meeting (PIM) on the Hanapepe River Bridge replacement. The purpose of the PIM is to provide an update on the project as well as discuss and solicit comment on an informational display for the historic Hanapepe River Bridge and the surrounding area.

 

The PIM is scheduled for:

Wednesday, February 6, 2019 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Public participation is encouraged as the comments received will aid in the development of the informational display. Community feedback on the proposed location of the display will also be sought at the PIM. Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to provide supplemental oral history that may be included in the supplemental material.
