HDOT News Release: Single lane restriction on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) at Hanalei Hill for emergency survey work, December 10-14, 2018

Posted on Dec 7, 2018 in Latest Department News

HANALEI – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) announces a single lane closure on Kuhio Highway (Route 560) between Hanalei Bridge and Hanalei Plantation Road from Monday, Dec. 10 to Friday, Dec. 14, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., daily, for survey work. The survey work will support the design of a slope stabilization project on the hillside adjacent to Kuhio Highway.

During work hours flagmen will manage alternating traffic control through the open lane. Motorists should expect delays and travel with caution through the work zone.

All work is weather permitting. Should conditions necessitate changes in the roadwork schedule, the latest information will be posted on the HDOT roadwork page at https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/roadwork/hawaii/ or via the Department’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.
