OAHU LANE CLOSURES
FOR THE WEEKEND OF SEPT. 21 – SEPT. 23

PLEASE NOTE:
Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Friday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 28, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 28, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Sunday night, Sept. 23, through Friday morning, Sept. 28, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)
Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Nimitz Highway offramp (Exit 15) and the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard offramp (Exit 18B) on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

5) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Waiawa Road overpass on Sunday night, Sept. 23, through Monday morning, Sept. 24, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail project.

6) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, Sept. 21, through Saturday morning, Sept. 22, for pavement rehabilitation work. Follow traffic control signs for usage of shoulder lanes.

Friday night
• Eastbound: Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 6:30 a.m.
• Westbound: Three lanes close at 10 p.m. Two lanes close at 9 a.m. (Saturday morning). All lanes reopen by 10:30 a.m.

1) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Aliinui Drive and Hakimo Road on Sunday night, Sept. 23, through Friday morning, Sept. 28, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for road striping.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)
Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between Kaai Street and Ainakoa Avenue on Sunday night, Sept. 23, through Friday morning, Sept. 28, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement resurfacing work. Traffic will be contraflowed in the eastbound direction.

3) MAUNAWILI TO WAIMANALO (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kailua Road and Flamingo Street on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KAHUKU TO LAIE (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Enos Road and Naniloa Loop on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) WAHIAWA (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kilani Avenue and Whitmore Avenue at the Karsten Thot Bridge on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m., for pothole patching. Traffic will be contraflowed.

— PALI HIGHWAY —

1) KANEOHE TO NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Closure of the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway to Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, Sept. 23, through Friday morning, Sept. 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

Alternating lane closure on Wilikina Drive in both directions in the vicinity of Funston Road on Friday night, Sept. 21, through Saturday morning, Sept. 22, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for maintenance work.

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 28, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on Kalihi Street in both directions between School Street and Dillingham Boulevard on Sunday night, Sept. 23, through Friday morning, Sept. 28, from 7 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for the lowering of manholes and roadway paving.

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Sept. 21, through Saturday morning, Sept. 22, and on Monday night, Sept. 24, through Friday morning, Sept. 28, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

Pedestrians are directed to use the east sidewalk as the west shared use walk and bike path is closed on a 24/7 basis.

Lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions between Mile Markers 7 and 10 in the vicinity of Wailuku Bridge to Waiaama Stream Bridge on Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for paving.
