OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEKEND OF OCT. 12 – OCT. 14

 

PLEASE NOTE:

All projects are weather permitting.

 

— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pali Highway overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Friday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 19, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 19, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Sunday night, Oct. 14, through Friday morning, Oct. 19, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Roving lane closures on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Halawa Interchange and the H-1/H-2 Split on Sunday night, Oct. 14, through Friday morning, Oct. 19, from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for striping repairs.

 

5) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Alternating lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Nimitz Highway offramp (Exit 15) and the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard offramp (Exit 18B) on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

6) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and the Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor offramp (Exit 1)on Sunday night, Oct. 14, through Thursday morning, Oct. 18, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex, Phase 2 project.

2) HALAWA (WEEKEND WORK)
Right lane closure on the H-201 Freeway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of the Stadium/Halawa/Camp Smith offramp (Exit 1E) on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— H-3 FREEWAY —

 

1) KANEOHE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Halawa Interchange and Halekou Interchange from 7 p.m. on Saturday night, Oct. 13, through 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, Oct. 14, for tunnel cleaning.

 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

 

1) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between the Aliinui Drive overpass and Hakimo Road on Sunday night, Oct. 14, through Friday morning, Oct. 19, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for road striping.

 

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

 

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between West Hind Drive and the H-1 Freeway on Sunday night, Oct. 14, through Friday morning, Oct. 19, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for resurfacing work. Traffic will be contraflowed in the eastbound direction.

 

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

 

1) MALAEKAHANA (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions from S Golf Course Road to Naniloa Loop on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

Roving lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of Ahua Street on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., for electrical maintenance work.

— MIDDLE STREET —

 

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Oct. 12, through Saturday morning, Oct. 13, and on Monday night, Oct. 15, through Friday morning, Oct. 19, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed.

 

Pedestrians are directed to use the east sidewalk as the west shared use walk and bike path is closed on a 24/7 basis.

 

 

— KEAHUMOA PARKWAY —

 

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 19, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.
