OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEKEND OF NOV. 9 – NOV. 11

— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pali Highway overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Friday, Nov. 9, through Friday, Nov. 16, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

2) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Nov. 9, through Friday, Nov. 16, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)
Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Ola Lane overpass on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., for pole repairs.

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions in the vicinity of Kuemanu Street on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for bridge maintenance.

 

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

 

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Shoulder closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

 

1) MILILANI (WEEKEND WORK)
Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue at the Kipapa Stream (Roosevelt) Bridge on Sunday, Nov. 11, through Friday, Nov. 16, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for restriping work. Traffic will be contraflowed.

 

2) PUNALUU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 83) in the southbound direction in the vicinity of Punaluu Valley Road at the Punaluu Stream Bridge on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance work. Traffic will be contraflowed.

 

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of Ahua Street on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for electrical maintenance work.

 

 

— PALI HIGHWAY —

 

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in both directions between the Pali Tunnels and Waokanaka Street on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— KEAHUMOA PARKWAY —

 

1) KAPOLEI (24-HOUR WORK)

Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, Nov. 9, through Friday, Nov. 16, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.

— MIDDLE STREET —

 

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Kamehameha Highway on Friday night, Nov. 9, through Saturday morning, Nov. 10, and on Tuesday night, Nov. 13, through Friday morning, Nov. 16, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed.

 

Pedestrians are directed to use the east sidewalk as the west shared use walk and bike path is closed on a 24/7 basis.

Alternating lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions in the vicinity of Mile Markers 6.9 to 7.1 at Papaikou on Saturday, Nov. 10, and Monday, Nov. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Tuesday, Nov. 13, through Friday, Nov. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for road repairs.
