OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEKEND OF FEB. 22 – FEB. 24

PLEASE NOTE:

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pali Highway overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Friday, Feb. 22, through Friday, March 1, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

2) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Feb. 22, through Friday, March 1, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes and shoulder closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Friday morning, March 1, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

Lane closures in the westbound direction are between Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and Punchbowl Street onramp.
Lane closures in the eastbound direction are between the Palama Street underpass and the Liliha Street overpass.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of the Airport offramp (Exit 16) on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., for bridge maintenance.

5) KALIHI TO KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Middle Street overpass and the Kalaeloa Boulevard overpass on Friday night, Feb. 22, through Saturday morning, Feb. 23, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., for pole survey work.

6) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Campbell Industrial Park/Barbers Point Harbor offramp (Exit 1A) and the Wakea Street onramp on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Friday morning, March 1, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex, Phase 2 project.

7) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on the Waiawa Interchange and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass from 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, continuously through 6:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, Feb. 23, for shoulder widening work.

Right lane will be closed between the Pearlridge/Waimalu offramp (Exit 10) and the Kaonohi Street overpass on Friday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Two lanes will be closed between the H-1/H-2 Merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., a third lane will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

8) PEARL CITY TO AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Saturday night, Feb. 23, through Monday morning, Feb. 25, for shoulder widening work. The shoulder will be closed.

Two lanes will be closed on Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m., Sunday morning. A third lane will be closed between the hours of 8 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
Two lanes will be closed on Sunday night from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A third lane will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., Monday morning.

9) WAIMALU TO AIEA (WEEKEND AND WEEKLY WORK)

Shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Pearlridge/Waimalu offramp (Exit 10) and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass for shoulder widening work.

Friday, Feb. 22, from 9 a.m. continuously through Monday morning, Feb. 25, at 4 a.m.
Monday, Feb. 25, through Thursday, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily.
Friday, March 1, from 9 a.m. through 11:59 p.m.

— H-201 MOANALUA FREEWAY —

1) MOANALUA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Alternating lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in both directions between the Ola Lane overpass and the Puuloa Road overpass on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Friday morning, March 1, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for preparation work for lighting improvements.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY (ROUTE 93) —

1) MAKAHA (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions in the vicinity of Makua Valley Road on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m., for maintenance work.

2) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in the westbound direction between Nanakuli Avenue and Haleakala Avenue on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Friday morning, March 1, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for storm drain improvements. Traffic will be contraflowed in the opposite direction.

3) WAIANAE (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving shoulder closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in the eastbound direction between Kaulawaha Road and Ala Hema Street on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for maintenance work.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 72) —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in the eastbound direction between Ainakoa Avenue and West Hind Drive on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Friday morning, March 1, from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for striping work.

2) WAIMANALO (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway (Route 72) in the eastbound direction between Kanapuu Drive and Flamingo Street on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 99) —

1) AIEA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) in the eastbound direction between McGrew Loop and the H-201 Moanalua Freeway onramp on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Monday morning, Feb. 25, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for striping installations.

2) PEARL CITY (24-HOUR WORK)

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) in the eastbound direction between Waihona Street and Acacia Road on Friday, Feb. 22, through Friday, March 1, over a 24-hour period, for The Rail project.

3) WAIMALU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on Kamehameha Highway (Route 99) in the eastbound direction between Hekaha Street and Kaonohi Street on Friday night, Feb. 22, through Saturday morning, Feb. 23, for The Rail project.

Right lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

All lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Eastbound traffic will be detoured up Hekaha Street, along Moanalua Road, and down Kaonohi Street.

— PALI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 61) —

1) KANEOHE TO NUUANU (WEEKEND AND WEEKLY CLOSURE)
Closure of the Pali Highway (Route 61) in both directions between Kamehameha Highway and Waokanaka Street on Saturday, Feb. 23, through Sunday, Feb. 24, over a 24-hour period, for slope stabilization work following the landslide.

From Monday, Feb. 25, through Friday, March 1:

The Honolulu-bound lanes will be contraflowed in the Kailua-bound lanes between Saint Stephen’s Diocesan Center and Nuuanu Pali Drive from 5 a.m. and 9 a.m.
The Kailua-bound direction will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Both directions will be closed outside of these times.

2) KANEOHE TO NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Pali Highway (Route 61) in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway and Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, Feb. 24, through Friday morning, March 1, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.
