OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 22 – JUNE 24

 

PLEASE NOTE:

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

 

— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Nuuanu Avenue overpass on Friday, June 22, through Friday, June 29, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, June 22, through Friday, June 29, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the School Street offramp (Exit 21A) on Sunday night, June 24, through Friday morning, June 29, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The westbound Punchbowl Street onramp will be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of the Kapiolani Interchange on Saturday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

5) KAPOLEI TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa offramp (Exit 5) from the eastbound H-1 Freeway on Saturday, June 23, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., for maintenance work.

 

6) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to four lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, June 22, through Sunday morning, June 24, for pavement work.

 

Friday night

Eastbound: Two lanes close at 6:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 7:30 p.m. Four lanes closed at 11 p.m. All lanes reopen at 6:30 a.m. The shoulder will be open. Moanalua Road onramp to the H-1 eastbound will be closed.
Westbound: Two lanes close at 8:15 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. Four lanes close at 11 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be open.

 

Saturday night

Eastbound: One lane closed at 6 p.m. Two lanes close at 7 p.m. Three lanes close at 8 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.
Westbound: Two lanes close at 6 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. Four lanes close at 11 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:15 a.m. The shoulder will be open.

1) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lane closures on the H-2 Freeway in both directions between Meheula Parkway overpass and the Ka Uka Boulevard overpass on Sunday, June 24, through Friday, June 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

 

1) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to two lanes closed on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Nanakuli Avenue and Helelua Street on Sunday night, June 24, through Friday morning, June 29, from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for drain line installations.

 

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

 

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Saturday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

2) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Lane closures on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Waiholo Street and West Hind Drive on Sunday night, June 24, through Friday morning, June 29, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement reconstruction work.

 

 

3) HAWAII KAI (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between Lunalilo Home Road and West Hind Drive on Sunday night, June 24, through Friday morning, June 29, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for striping work.

 

 

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

 

1) KAHUKU (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions in the vicinity of Kuilima Drive on Saturday, June 23, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

 

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Wilson Tunnel and Kula Kolea Drive on Saturday, June 23, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Left lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Sand Island Access Road and Ahua Street on Saturday, June 23, from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., for electrical maintenance work.

 

2) PEARL HARBOR (WEEKEND WORK)

Alternating lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of Honolulu onramp to the eastbound H-1 Freeway on Saturday, June 23, from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— PALI HIGHWAY —

 

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway to Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, June 24, through Friday morning, June 29, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, June 22, through Friday, June 29, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.

1) WAIKOKO TO WAINIHA (WEEKEND WORK)
Limited access for local traffic on Kuhio Highway between Waikoko and Wainiha on Mondays through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., due to slope stabilization work. For more details on the limited access schedule, please click here.
