OAHU LANE CLOSURES
FOR THE WEEKEND OF JULY 20 – JULY 22

PLEASE NOTE:
Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Nuuanu Avenue overpass on Friday, July 20, through Friday, July 27, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, July 20, through Friday, July 27, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the School Street offramp (Exit 21A) on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The westbound Punchbowl Street onramp will be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured.

4) KAPOLEI TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on the Kalaeloa Boulevard and Makakilo Drive onramps on Saturday, July 21, from 2 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., for maintenance work.

5) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, July 20, through Sunday morning, July 22, for pavement work.

Friday night
• Eastbound: Two lanes close at 6:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 7:30 p.m. All lanes reopen at 6:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 7:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be open.

Saturday night
• Eastbound: One lane closed at 6 p.m. Two lanes close at 7 p.m. Three lanes close at 8 p.m. All lanes reopen at 9 a.m. The shoulder will be open.
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 6 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 12:30 p.m. The shoulder will be closed.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Hakimo Road and the Aliinui Drive overpass on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for pavement striping.

2) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Helelua Street and Nanakuli Avenue, on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for drain line installations.

3) WAIANAE (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Mailiilii Road and Maiuu Road on Saturday, July 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Saturday, July 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Ainakoa Avenue and West Hind Drive on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement resurfacing work. Traffic will be contraflowed in the westbound lanes. Two lanes in each direction will remain open at all times.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) MILILANI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Closure of Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue from 9 p.m. on Friday night, July 20, continuously through 5 a.m. on Monday morning, July 23, for bridge rehabilitation work. Use the H-2 Freeway as an alternate route.

2) WAHIAWA (WEEKEND WORK)
Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kilani Avenue and Whitmore Avenue at the Karsten Thot Bridge on Saturday, July 21, from 6 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)
Left lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the westbound direction between Sand Island Access Road and Ahua Street on Saturday, July 14, from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m., for electrical maintenance work.

— PALI HIGHWAY —

1) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)
Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Nuuanu Pali Drive and Waokanaka Street Drive on Saturday, July 21, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) NUUANU (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction in the vicinity of Nuuanu Pali Drive on Saturday, July 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) NUUANU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Closure of the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway to Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

• One lane closed from 6:45 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Two lanes closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

— FORT WEAVER ROAD —

1) EWA (WEEKEND WORK)
Alternating lane closure on Fort Weaver Road in the northbound direction at the H-1 Freeway overpass on Saturday, July 21, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Nimitz Highway on Friday night, July 20, through Saturday morning, July 21, and on Monday night, July 23, through Friday morning, July 27, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

Pedestrians are directed to use the east sidewalk as the west shared use walk and bike path is closed.

KAUAI LANE CLOSURES
FOR THE WEEKEND OF JULY 20 – JULY 22

— KUHIO HIGHWAY —

1) HANAMAULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closure on Kuhio Highway in the southbound direction between Nuku Street and Kapaia Road on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for sewer work. Traffic will be shifted.

2) LIHUE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure on Kuhio Highway in the southbound direction at the Ehiku Street intersection on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for sewer work. Motorists will not be able to enter or exit Ehiku Street from Kuhio Highway and will be detoured onto Eha Street.

3) LIHUE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Alternating lane closure on Kuhio Highway in both directions between Kapule Highway and North Leho Drive on Sunday night, July 22, through Friday morning, July 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for road reconstruction and repaving.
4) WAIKOKO TO WAINIHA (WEEKEND WORK)
Limited access for local traffic on Kuhio Highway between Waikoko and Wainiha on Mondays through Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., due to slope stabilization work. To view the limited access schedule, please click here.
