OAHU LANE CLOSURES
FOR THE WEEKEND OF JULY 27 – JULY 29

PLEASE NOTE:
Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.
All projects are weather permitting.

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) EWA (WEEKEND WORK)
Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Fort Weaver Road underpass on Saturday, July 28, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Nuuanu Avenue overpass on Friday, July 27, through Friday, Aug. 3, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, July 27, through Friday, Aug. 3, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the School Street offramp (Exit 21A) on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The westbound Punchbowl Street onramp will be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured.

5) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Left lane closure on the Pali Highway onramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

6) KAPOLEI TO WAIPAHU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and the Waipahu/Pearl City offramp (Exit 8A) on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for sign work.

7) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, July 27, through Sunday morning, July 29, for pavement work.

Friday night
• Eastbound: Two lanes close at 6:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 7:30 p.m. All lanes reopen at 6:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 7:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be open.

Saturday night
• Eastbound: One lane closes at 6 p.m. Two lanes close at 7 p.m. Three lanes close at 8 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 6 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 12:30 p.m. The shoulder will be open.

Ramp closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions at the Pearl Harbor Interchange on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail project.

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Hakimo Road and Helelua Street on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for pavement striping.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)
Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Saturday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to two lanes closed on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Middle Street and Puuhale Road on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for The Rail project.

24-hour lane closure on Nimitz Highway in the eastbound direction between Center Drive and Valkenburgh Street on Friday, July 27, through Friday, Aug. 3, for The Rail project. Up to two lanes will be closed on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for The Rail project.

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Nuuanu Pali Drive and Waokanaka Street Drive on Saturday, July 28, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

Closure of the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kamehameha Highway to Waokanaka Street on Sunday night, July 29, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, July 27, through Friday, Aug. 3, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.

Right lane closure on Sand Island Parkway in the northbound direction between Makepono Street and the Sand Island Bridge on Friday night, July 27, through Saturday morning, July 28, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for maintenance work.

— MIDDLE STREET —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closures on Middle Street in both directions between North King Street and Nimitz Highway on Friday night, July 27, through Saturday morning, July 28, and on Monday night, July 30, through Friday morning, Aug. 3, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., for the Middle Street Pavement Reconstruction project. Traffic will be contraflowed, and some turns may be restricted.

Pedestrians are directed to use the east sidewalk as the west shared use walk and bike path is closed.

— PAIEA STREET —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Right lane closure on Paiea Street in the northbound direction between Aolele Street and Nimitz Highway on Sunday night, July 29, through Tuesday morning, July 31, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for airport construction projects and traffic signal work.

Lane closure and shifts on Rice Street/Kapule Highway/Waapa Road in both directions between Halau Street and Wilcox Road on Sunday night, July 29, through Wednesday morning, Aug. 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for paving work.

— KUHIO HIGHWAY —
1) WAIKOKO TO WAINIHA (WEEKEND WORK)
