OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEK OF DEC. 30 – JAN. 5

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to three right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Aala Street underpass and the Kinau Street offramp (Exit 22) on Tuesday night, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Liliha Street overpass, Aala Street overpass, Queen Emma Street overpass, and Kinau Street offramp (Exit 22) on Friday night, Dec. 29, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Aala Street Overpass and the Kinau Street offramp (Exit 22) on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for utility installations.

4) KAPOLEI

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and the Farrington Highway offramp (Exit 1E) on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex, Phase 2 project.

5) KAPOLEI

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Wakea Street onramp and the Makakilo Drive overpass on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

6) KAPOLEI (NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kualakai Parkway underpass and the Makakilo Drive overpass on Tuesday night, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

7) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Three to four lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kaonohi Street overpass and the Pearl City/Waimalu offramp (Exit 10) on Tuesday night, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for overhead sign work. If necessary, a fourth lane will be closed during the hours of 12 a.m. midnight and 4:30 a.m.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) KAPOLEI

Farrington Highway will be contraflowed between Wakea Street and Kalaeloa Boulevard on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

2) MAKAHA

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Makua Valley Road and Kili Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road repairs. Traffic will be contraflowed. Pedestrian and bicycle access will be limited.

3) NANAKULI (NIGHT WORK)

One to two lane closures on Farrington Highway in both directions between Haleakala Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue on Tuesday night, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for utility installations. The crosswalk in front of Ka Waihona School will also be closed.

4) PEARL CITY

Left lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of Waiawa Road on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for The Rail project.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA

Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the West Hind Drive intersection on Wednesday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) KAILUA

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Keolu Drive intersection on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for drainage repairs.

3) WAIMANALO

Shoulder and possible lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Kanapuu Drive and Humuniki Street on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for roadway reconstruction and waterline relocation.

4) WAIMANALO (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Kanapuu Drive and Humuniki Street on Tuesday night, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., for roadway reconstruction and waterline relocation.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) KANEOHE

Lane shifts on Kamehameha Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction in the vicinity of the H-3 Freeway Overpass on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., for utility maintenance.

2) MILILANI
Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the southbound direction between Leilehua Road and Waikalani Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for slope improvement work.

3) MILILANI

Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Lanikuhana Avenue and Ka Uka Boulevard on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for bridge rehabilitation work. Traffic will be contraflowed.

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

1) KALIHI (NIGHT WORK)

Up to two lanes closed on Likelike Highway in both directions between School Street and Emmeline Place on Tuesday night, Jan. 2, through Friday morning, Jan. 5, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for pavement striping and paving.

2) KALIHI

Right lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Emmeline Place and Kula Kolea Drive on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for electrical, guardrail, and paving work.

Two lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Kula Kolea Drive and School Street on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for electrical, guardrail, and paving work.

Lane closure on Likelike Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between Kalihi Street and Emmeline Place on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., for electrical, guardrail, and paving work.

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Pali Tunnels and Waokanaka Street on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for preparation work for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

2) NUUANU

Right lane closure on the Pali Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Jack Lane and Niolopa Place on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for preparation work for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

3) NUUANU TO MAUNAWILI

Intermittent lane closure on the Pali Highway in both directions between Vineyard Boulevard and Kamehameha Highway on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for preparation work for the Pali Highway Resurfacing project.

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

1) HONOLULU

Up to two lanes closed on Ala Moana Boulevard in both directions between Piikoi Street and Queen Street and from on Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for paving and pavement striping installations. Traffic will be contraflowed.

— WEST HIND DRIVE —

1) AINA HAINA

Lane closure on West Hind Drive in the southbound direction at the Kalanianaole Highway intersection on Wednesday, Jan. 3, through Friday, Jan. 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sidewalk work.

— KEAHUMOA PARKWAY —

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, Dec. 29, through Friday, Jan. 5, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.
