— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pali Highway overpass and the Houghtailing Street underpass on Friday, Jan. 11, through Friday, Jan. 18, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

2) HONOLULU (24-HOUR WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Jan. 11, through Friday, Jan. 18, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions on Sunday night, Jan. 13, through Friday morning, Jan. 18, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

  • Eastbound closures between the Palama Street underpass and the Liliha Street overpass.
  • Westbound closures between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the Liliha Street overpass.

 

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Punchbowl Street onramp to the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Sunday night, Jan. 13, through Monday morning, Jan. 14, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. Motorists will be detoured via Vineyard Boulevard.

 

5) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the School Street onramp to the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Monday night, Jan. 14, through Friday morning, Jan. 18, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. Motorists will be detoured via Palama Street and Vineyard Boulevard to access the westbound H-1 Freeway.

 

6) HONOLULU

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction between the Ward Avenue overpass and the McCully Street overpass on Monday, Jan. 14, through Friday, Jan. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

7) HONOLULU (NIGHT WORK)

Closure of the Paiea Street/Aolele Street ramp at HNL from the eastbound H-1 Freeway on Monday night, Jan. 14, through Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. Traffic will be detoured to Aolele Street via the “Arrivals” ramp.

 

Shoulder closure on the ramp on Tuesday night, Jan. 15, through Friday morning, Jan. 18, from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., for sign replacement work.

 

8) KAPOLEI
Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Makakilo Drive overpass and the Farrington Highway offramp on Monday, Jan. 14, through Friday, Jan. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sign installations.

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in both directions between Kili Drive and Makua Valley Road on Monday, Jan. 14, through Friday, Jan. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for paving work. Traffic will be contraflowed. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be limited.

 

2) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Farrington Highway (Route 93) in the westbound direction between Piliokahi Avenue and Hakimo Road on Sunday night, Jan. 13, through Friday morning, Jan. 18, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for resurfacing work. Lanes will be closed at one intersection at a time starting at Piliokahi Avenue and moving west. Traffic will be contraflowed.

On Thursday, Jan. 17, Kuhio Highway will be closed in both directions between the Wainiha and Waikoko checkpoints from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for rockfall mitigation

involving a helicopter. Affected convoys will be the 12:45 p.m. convoy from Wainiha out and the 1:15 p.m. convoy in from Waikoko. All traffic, regardless of passes, must be cleared off the highway during the installation for their own safety.
