OAHU LANE CLOSURES
FOR THE WEEK OF AUG. 4 – AUG. 10

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Nuuanu Avenue overpass on Friday, Aug. 3, through Friday, Aug. 10, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, Aug. 3, through Friday, Aug. 10, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the School Street offramp (Exit 21A) on Sunday night, Aug. 5, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The westbound Punchbowl Street onramp will be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Left lane closure on the Pali Highway onramp to the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Sunday night, Aug. 5, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

5) HONOLULU
One lane closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pali Highway overpass and the Palama Street underpass on Wednesday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for utility installations.

6) HONOLULU
Alternating roving lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of the Piikoi Street onramps on Monday, Aug. 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

7) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)
Alternating lane closure on the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard offramp (Exit 18B) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

8) KAPOLEI
Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the Wakea Street onramp and the Kualakai Parkway underpass on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Waiawa Road overpass on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for The Rail project.

10) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, Aug. 3, through Sunday morning, Aug. 5, for pavement work.

Friday night
• Eastbound: Two lanes close at 6:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 7:30 p.m. All lanes reopen at 6:30 a.m. The shoulder will be open.
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 7:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.

Saturday night
• Eastbound: Two lanes close at 7 p.m. Three lanes close at 8 p.m. All lanes reopen at 9 a.m. The shoulder will be open.
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 6 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 12:30 p.m. The shoulder will be open.

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Monday night, Aug. 6, through Friday morning, Aug. 10. Follow traffic control signs for usage of shoulder lanes.

Monday night through Friday morning
• Eastbound: Two lanes close at 6:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 7:30 p.m. All lanes reopen at 4 a.m.

Tuesday night through Friday morning
• Westbound: Two lanes close at 8 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 3 a.m.

Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Pearl City/Waimalu offramp (Exit 10) and the H-1/H-2 split on Wednesday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for pavement work.

Ramp closures on the H-1 Freeway in both directions at the Pearl Harbor Interchange on Sunday night, Aug. 5, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for The Rail project.

1) AIEA
Lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Aiea Access Road intersection on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for median maintenance.

2) MOANALUA
Alternating lane closure on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in both directions between the Middle Street overpass and the Puuloa Road overpass on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) MOANALUA (NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of the Puuloa Road overpass on Monday night, Aug. 6, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 10:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for pavement work and concrete barrier maintenance.

• Monday and Tuesday nights – Two left lanes will be closed in both directions.
• Wednesday and Thursday night – Two right lanes will be closed in the westbound direction. No eastbound lanes will be closed.

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Aliinui Drive overpass on Thursday night, Aug. 9, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for cable maintenance work.

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Aliinui Drive overpass on Monday, Aug. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for cable maintenance work.

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Moua Street and Upena Street on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement repair work.

4) MAKAHA
Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Makua Valley Road and Kili Drive on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug.10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail installation. Traffic will be contraflowed.

5) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Helelua Street and Hakimo Road on Sunday night, Aug. 5, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for road striping.

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY —

1) KANEOHE
Right lane closure on Kahekili Highway in the northbound direction between Kahuhipa Street and Haiku Road on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewer work. The sidewalk and bike lane will be closed during this time.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA
Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Tuesday, Aug. 7, and Thursday, Aug. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for tree trimming.

• Tuesday – Lane closure will be in the eastbound direction.
• Thursday – Lane closure will be in the westbound direction.

2) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on Kalanianaole Highway in the westbound direction between West Hind Drive and the H-1 Freeway on Sunday night, Aug. 5, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement resurfacing work. Traffic will be contraflowed in the opposite direction. Two lanes in each direction will remain open at all times.

Sunday night through Wednesday morning
• Two lanes closed in the westbound direction between Analii Street and the H-1 Freeway. Traffic will be contraflowed in the eastbound lanes.

Wednesday night
• The westbound Kilauea Avenue offramp (Exit 27) will be closed. Motorists will be routed to Ainakoa Avenue, to Malia Street and to Kilauea Avenue.

Thursday night
• Two lanes closed in the westbound direction between West Hind Drive and Waa Street. Traffic will be contraflowed in the eastbound lanes.

3) HAWAII KAI
Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kawaihae Street and Hawaii Kai Drive on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for paving work. The sidewalk and bike lane will be closed during this time.

4) KAILUA
Right lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Uluhala Street and Kailua Road on Monday, Aug. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for electrical maintenance work.

— KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY —

1) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU
Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Joseph P. Leong Highway and Kahekili Highway on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) HALEIWA TO PUPUKEA
Alternating roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Joseph P. Leong Highway and Kaunala Street on Wednesday, Aug. 8, through Thursday, Aug. 9, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) KAAAWA
Roving closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Johnson Road and Kahana Valley Road on Monday, Aug. 6, through Thursday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

4) KAAAWA TO PUNALUU
Alternating roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Johnson Road and Puhuli Street on Tuesday, Aug. 7, through Thursday, Aug. 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

5) KAHALUU
Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Pulama Road and Kaimalolo Place on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pole replacements. The sidewalk and bike lane will be closed during this time.

6) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to two lanes closed on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Middle Street and Puuhale Road on Sunday night, Aug. 5, through Friday morning, Aug. 10, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for The Rail project.

7) KANEOHE
Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kaneohe Bay Drive and Mahinui Road on Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for drainage installations. On Wednesday, Aug. 8, the lane closure will occur between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Portions of the sidewalk may be closed at various locations (depending on location of catch basin work) during the days/hours listed above. Pedestrians will be diverted at closest crosswalk to use opposite sidewalk.

8) LAIE
Alternating roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kaupau Place and Anemoku Street on Monday, Aug. 6, through Thursday, Aug. 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

9) MILILANI (WEEKEND WORK)
Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue at the Kipapa Stream (Roosevelt) Bridge on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 6, through Friday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for bridge rehabilitation work. Traffic will be contraflowed.
