Posted on Nov 29, 2017 in Latest Department News

HONOLULU – The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) notifies the public that the Airport offramp will be closed from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction from 6 p.m. on Wednesday night, Dec. 6, 2017, through 2 a.m. on Thursday morning, Dec. 7, 2017, for pothole repairs.

Construction will need one night of work to repair a few large potholes in the concrete surface of the offramp. Electronic message boards will be posted to advise motorists that access to the airport will be from Nimitz Highway.

Motorists traveling to the airport should allow for extra travel time to get to their destination. The public is encouraged to stay informed with HDOT events by checking our department’s website at hidot.hawaii.gov and our social media sites, Facebook and Twitter.
