OAHU LANE CLOSURES FOR THE WEEKEND OF DEC. 8 – DEC. 10

— H-1 FREEWAY —

 

1) EWA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on the Ewa offramp (Exit 5A) from the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., for electrical maintenance work.

 

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Up to three right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Palama Street underpass and the Queen Emma Street overpass on Sunday night, Dec. 10, through Friday morning, Dec. 15, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction in the vicinity of the Liliha Street overpass, Aala Street overpass and Queen Emma Street overpass on Friday, Dec. 8, through Friday, Dec. 15, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

 

4) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction at the Middle Street overpass on Sunday night, Dec. 10, through Monday morning, Dec. 11, from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for lighting replacement work.

 

 

— H-3 FREEWAY —

 

1) KANEOHE (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction at the Harano Tunnel on Saturday night, Dec. 9, through Sunday morning, Dec. 10, from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

 

1) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

One lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Haleakala Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue on Friday night, Dec. 8, through Saturday morning, Dec. 9, from 10 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. and Saturday night, Dec. 9, through Friday morning, Dec. 15, from 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for utility installations. The crosswalk in front of Ka Waihona School will also be closed.

 

2) NANAKULI (WEEKEND WORK)

One lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Haleakala Avenue and Nanakuli Avenue on Saturday, Dec. 9, through Sunday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for utility installations. The crosswalk in front of Ka Waihona School will also be closed.

 

 

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

 

1) KAHALA TO HAWAII KAI (WEEKEND WORK)

Closure of Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Ainakoa Avenue and Hawaii Kai Drive on Sunday, Dec. 10, beginning at 4:30 a.m., for the Honolulu Marathon. Traffic will be contraflowed. Crews will begin reopening the roadway as the last participant passes through the area.

 

2) MAUNAWILI (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Kapaa Quarry Road and Kamehameha Highway on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— LIKELIKE HIGHWAY —

1) KALIHI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to two lanes closed on Likelike Highway in both directions between School Street and Emmeline Place on Sunday night, Dec. 10, through Friday morning, Dec. 15, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for pavement striping and paving.

 

 

— NIMITZ HIGHWAY —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to two lanes closed on Nimitz Highway in both directions at the Valkenburgh Street intersection on Sunday night, Dec. 10, through Friday morning, Dec. 15, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for The Rail project.

1) NUUANU TO MAUNAWILI (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on the Pali Highway in both directions between South Beretania Street and Kamehameha Highway on Saturday, Dec. 9, through Sunday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— ALA MOANA BOULEVARD —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Lane closures on Ala Moana Boulevard/Nimitz Highway in both directions between Atkinson Drive and Nuuanu Avenue on Sunday, Dec. 10, beginning at 12:30 a.m., for the Honolulu Marathon. Motorists will be detoured. Crews will begin reopening the roadway as the last participant passes through the area.

 

 

— VINEYARD BOULEVARD —

 

1) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Vineyard Boulevard in both directions between Olomea Street and the South Vineyard Boulevard onramp on Saturday, Dec. 9, through Sunday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

 

 

— KEAHUMOA PARKWAY —

 

1) KAPOLEI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Right lane closure on Keahumoa Parkway in both directions in the vicinity of Kualakai Parkway on Friday, Dec. 8, through Friday, Dec. 15, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.
