OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR — Flag Notice – in memory of retired Associate Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens

HONOLULU – At the direction of the President of the United States, Gov. David Ige has ordered that the United States flag and the Hawai‘i state flag will be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and upon all state offices and agencies as well as the Hawai‘i National Guard in the State of Hawai‘i on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Tuesday, July 23, 2019 until sunset. This is the date of interment for retired Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court John Paul Stevens. Stevens served on the Supreme Court for 35 years. He died on July 17 at the age 99.
