WHAT:    Induction of Governor George Ryoichi Ariyoshi into the Aloha Order of Merit

Established in 1993 by the Hawai‘i State Legislature, the Aloha Order of Merit is one of the State of Hawaiʻi’s highest honors in recognition of individuals who have provided extraordinary service and brought great honor to Hawaiʻi nei.

The Hawai‘i House of Representatives and Senate approved Gov. Ariyoshi’s induction on April 22, 2019 with the passage of House Concurrent Resolution No. 232.
