PSD NEWS RELEASE: Laumaka work furlough inmate fails to return after work to facility

HONOLULU – Laumaka work furlough inmate Ronald Medeiros left the work furlough center Sunday morning to go to work.  He was supposed to return by 9:30 p.m. Sheriffs and Honolulu Police were notified.

Medeiros is 50-years old. He is 5’8″ tall and weighs 160 lbs. He is bald and has brown eyes.

Medeiros is serving time for Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle. Parole was tentatively approved and pending a release date set by the parole chair.  He now faces an additional escape charge when found.

Medeiros is a community custody inmate in the work furlough program with pass privileges. Community custody is the lowest classification status.
