PSD NEWS RELEASE: Missing Laumaka furlough inmate captured by sheriffs and returned to OCCC

HONOLULU – Missing work furlough inmate Glenn Bisarra was arrested by State Sheriffs in Kakaako.  He was taken into custody at noon and returned to the Oahu Community Correctional Center this afternoon.

Bisarra failed to return after work to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center on Thursday, May 12.

Bisarra was serving time for Assault 2. Escape 2 is expected to be added to his charges. His next parole hearing was scheduled for later this month. 33-year old Bisarra is classified as community custody which is the lowest custody level.
