PSD NEWS RELEASE – Missing Laumaka work furlough inmate William Brooks turns himself in to OCCC.

HONOLULU – Missing Laumaka work furlough inmate William Brooks turned himself in to the Oahu Community Correctional Center Sunday evening.  Brooks failed to return to the Laumaka Work Furlough Center on January 4.

Brooks is serving time for Robbery 1 and Kidnapping. His parole date was May 2021. He now faces an additional escape charge.

He is a community custody inmate in the work furlough program with pass privileges. Community custody is the lowest classification status.
