PSD NEWS RELEASE: Missing OCCC furlough inmate captured by state sheriffs

HONOLULU – Work furlough program inmate Ryan Walker was arrested by the Sheriff Division Special Operations Fugitive Unit at 6:50 a.m.  He was located in the Kakaako area.

Walker failed to return to Module 20 on July 20. He left at 6 p.m. on a program pass and was scheduled to return a few hours later. 

35-year old Walker is classified as community custody which is the lowest custody level.  Walker was serving time for Sex Assault 2 and Burglary 1. Escape 2 is expected to be added to his charges. His next parole hearing is scheduled for October 2016.
