PSD NEWS RELEASE: OCCC furlough program inmate fails to return to facility after work

 HONOLULU – Work furlough program inmate Moses Kawaa failed to return after work to Module 20. Kawaa left yesterday morning and was scheduled to return at 7 p.m. State Sheriffs and Honolulu Police were notified. 
33-year old Kawaa is classified as community custody which is the lowest custody level.  He is 5’10” and weighs 130 lbs.  He has brown hair and eyes.

Kawaa was serving time for Robbery 1. Escape 2 is expected to be added to his charges. His next parole hearing is scheduled for September 2016.
